Responsible for every aspect of the management of music ensembles in the PVAMU Department of Music:

Manage, oversee and execute all activities that pertain to the PVAMU “Marching Storm” band.

Work with the administration and university financial entities to provide budgets, manage needs of the band, ensure all financial obligations are addressed

Advertise and establish recruitment procedures for the Marching Storm; visit feeder schools, execute workshops and clinics

Manage scholarship budget for all current and potential members

Maintain communication with the administration regarding all activities for the Marching Storm

Assist with student advising, mentoring and tutoring; establish and maintain student academic requirements

Oversee every aspect of the Marching Storm performances
